In that story a self imposed retired journalist comes out to and he explains about the hate crimes that were the killing of the target person on the basis of religious difference ,caste difference etc.
Raththam Movie Review Summary
Here in this story VIJAY ANTONY as main character name RANJITH KUMAR an investigator journalist comes out of his self imposed retirement due to his personal issues to solve a series of interconnected hate crimes .
In story a boy is shown that after drinking too much reached in a magazine office name VAANA and asked to the chief editor about ARSLAN ,when Arslan comes ,he kills him with knife .but the mysterious thing was that he didnot run off after killing but in front of police said that Arslan wrote wrong about my favorite hero and that why I killed him .
After that the main character Kumar is that after dropping his daughter to school drink too much and goes to job where his duty is to take care of the horses .he returned back to office Vaana by the request of the owner name Bilal. he informed Kumar about the murder of the Arslan. a unknown person is chasing him. Kumar works under the female chief editor MADHOO.
Hate story
In that a office worker is also killed in the same way. Kumar arranged a meeting and told that all that crimes are interconnected to each other and are hate crime that based on the Relegion difference and on the caste difference .He says may be some organization is involved that performed that target killing .the unknown person that was chasing Kumar is shown ,influencing the boy that had killed Arslan .He ifluenced him by saying that he wrote against your favorite actor.
After that a lady name Sangeeta is shown with is daughter in school. The principal says SANGEETA that her is mentally weak ,she should get admission in the special school.
Kumar decided to meet the unknown person that was chasing him. The unknown person goes to Sangeeta house and says to her that Kumar has seen him .Sangeeta killed the unknown person .Here Sangeeta is shown the team leader of the organization involved in target killing.
MLA is shown seeking help to J.Raaj and says that he want to kill his pregnant girlfriend. J.Raaj told MLA about the Sangeeta team.
Kumar when goes to Arslan house he sees some shoes in the bedroom ,however Arslan was allergic to that type shoes and in the next day he sees Arslan wife going with someone else in car. He goes to Arslan wife and asked if someone is harassing him .She started crying and says that after the death of his parents ,his uncle took her with and started to harassing her from her chidlhood but after her marriage Arslan was taking care of me ,but after his death my uncle again started to harass me.
Kumar goes to her uncle house and her uncle manifested that he went to Sangeeta and gave her money to kill Arslan .Kumar realized that some IT team provide information to Sangeeta organization about the killer persons to whom she sent the influencer to influence to kill the target person.
Sangeeta is shown searching the killer on social media for killing the MLA pregnant girlfriend. Arslan goes to SANGEETA house and during conversation Sangeeta told him about his name and about everything and she replied to him that as his profession is to solve the problem in the same way my profession is killing .
Kumar realized that Sangeeta has server in her house and he decided to take it so that he could get information from there . Kumar also seek help from IT expert but he says it is impossible to hack the server .Thus KUMAR threw dead mice in the colony of Sangeeta house and on the complaint of residential people the government took action and decided to clean the colony for that he said people to take refugee to other place for somedays. Sangeeta was furious about that as she know if she left the house then Kumar will get access to her servers. She seeks help from J.Raaj and he took the server with him as by showing an military investigation .However when police surrounded J.Raaj during his journey he blast his car with him showing that all server information is smashed.
Kumar On Action
Kumar was sure that server information is still in the van . He decided to go to the J.Raaj house and took that server. HOWEVER ,there was strict security in his house . Kumar entered the van and get the server information in a flash. There was strict security outside and he got no chance to ran off for that he spent the night in the van. In the morning he ran off by riding on the horse and smashing the door . Server contains all the information about the persons involved in target killing . They arrest all the persons involved in such crimes .
Sangeeta ran away to other country . He relied MADHOO that he does not want again to see a daughter loosing her mother . His wife was died during giving birth our daughter. When he was not with her in that situation . She may be alive if he were with her . He allows Sangeeta to escape away from that country for this reason . Kumar wrote letter to Sangeeta “not comeback to India” . At the end of the movie Kumar was shown joining the office again .
